The present study proposes an upgrade of the existing swimming pool of Pallini by replacing the roof with a new energy-conservative roof.
The present study deals with the upgrade of the existing sports area of the Municipal Swimming Pool. The purpose is to minimize consumed energy especially during winter when large quantities of energy are spent in order to warm the swimming pool waters. The idea is to replace the roof with a special construction that will maximize solar utilization via photovoltaic systems and to replace the old pump with new energy pumps.
