New ring road around Vrissi village


New ring road to bypass Vrissi village in Monemvasia and provide traffic relief during summer season.

The objective of the study is to design a peripheral ring road around Vrissi village that will re-route traffic around the densely habitated parts of the village and provide relief during peak season. It is accompanied by an environmental study that assesses the project’s impacts on the immediate and wider area of the project, during the construction and operation of the ring road. Furthermore, it proposes ways and methods of minimizing these impacts.

The total length of the ring road is approximately 1 km. It starts from the main road at the northern entrance of the village and follows a route to the east. At its end, it joins the Provincial Road of Kyparissi.
