A geotechnical survey and study was conducted for the new football stands in Tolo Stadium in Nafplio.
Τhe geotechnical survey and study was deemed necessary due to severe foundation problems. The project aimed to:
a) Discover the soil stratigraphy
b) Determine the exact position of the aquifer,
c) Categorize the area in terms of seismic hazard accoring to Hellenic Regulations,
d) Estimate the foundation excavations.
e) Assess the soil parameters needed for the implementaion of the foundation (bearing capacity of the ground, Eurocode 7)
