Land survey and transportation studies for improving the existing costal road in Nies, Municipality of Almyros.
The following guidelines were implemented:
- follow the existing dirt road footprint
- reduce the excavantions needed for the improvement and
- meet all the necessary safety requirements for vehicles and pedestrians.
For the optimal location of the project, the topographical map of the area was preceded to capture streams crossing the area, elevations and existing projects and all these to be taken into account when planning.
