Waste water processing unit and wood of Pellet production unit in ’Vikela’ in the Nafplio.


The present Environmental Impact Study concerns a new sub-activity on an existing project / activity and aims at the environmental permitting of a waste oil mill processing plant to produce polyphenols and organic materials.

It is an advanced technology facility consisting of Ultrafiltration, Nanofiltration-NF and Reversed Osmosis-RO systems in series with a processing capacity of 1200 tons per day of liquid waste three-phase mills and two-phase oil mills two-phase 60-65% hydrophore) to produce polyphenols and other organic materials but also high quality water. Along with the new activity in the same site already operates a licensed wood pellet production unit.

The purpose of this study is to approve the environmental conditions for the operation of the new plant taking into account the environmental impact of both the new and the existing unit) and to adapt the environmental conditions to the current legal framework.
